Biography
Based in Europe, Japanese violinist Rino Yoshimoto performs internationally as a soloist and chamber musician.
Born in Kobe in 2003, she has appeared at leading venues including Carnegie Hall and the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein. Her orchestral engagements, recitals and chamber music projects have taken her throughout Europe, Asia and the United States, including a critically acclaimed tour of Spain as soloist with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra.

Since leaving Japan at fourteen, Kreisler’s arrangement of Londonderry Air has stayed with Rino Yoshimoto through loneliness, sorrow and joy, giving her strength. Having herself been sustained by music, she wants to share with listeners the beauty and full range of emotions that composers entrust to it. To do so in a voice unmistakably her own — to have a ‘signature in sound’ — is the artist she aspires to be.
